Located in DeKalb, IL, Unified Wire and Cable continues to operate as one of the few privately owned wire manufacturers in the heartland of America. From our modest beginnings of one PVC extruder, we now operate seven extrusion lines in a 75,000 sq ft facility that is fully integrated from copper fabrication to the insulation of single conductor lead wire and various multiconductor cable configurations. Such vertical integration allows us the flexibility to draw, bunch and insulate based on market fluctuations and customer demands.
